The client is a prominent financial services company in Malaysia, offering personal and business loans to individuals and companies. The client was collecting vast amounts of data from loan applications submitted via their website. However, this data was stored in internal databases without an effective means to analyse or visualize it. As a result, they lacked a clear understanding of their customers' behaviours, preferences, and patterns, hindering their ability to make data-driven decisions.

The process of compiling and analysing this data manually was time-consuming, and often led to delayed insights or inaccurate conclusions. The client lacked a comprehensive view of the loan application lifecycle. They had no easy way to track how many loan applications had been submitted, were pending approval, approved, or rejected. This lack of visibility made it difficult for the management team to monitor the overall health of their loan portfolio and assess key performance indicators (KPIs).

By integrating data from their web-based loan application platform and internal databases, the B.I software delivers comprehensive insights through interactive dashboards and storyboards. These tools enable the client to analyse key demographics such as age, salary, gender, and location, making insights accessible to both technical and non-technical users.

The solution also tracks the entire loan application process, offering real-time visibility into submission, approval, and rejection statuses. This capability helps the client manage their loan pipeline, identify approval trends, and mitigate risks. Additionally, the system analyses customer behaviour, revealing patterns like age or income groups more likely to apply for loans. These insights empower the client to optimize marketing strategies, refine product offerings, and tailor loan approval criteria effectively.
